It has been a while since we last updated our blog. We have been occupied with orders. A BIG thank you to our valued customers who have been giving us your support. 

Mickey and Minnie, all kids love them at some point of their childhood. We have been granted much opportunity in creating cakes with Mickey and Minnie, and hoping more to come. Sharing with you some of our favourite Minnie Mouse cakes. Mickey to follow in our next post.

We just love this!

Not sure since when Pororo & Friends became popular among kids, especially among the toddlers. We sure did quite a bit of research before creating these cakes.

A single tier and a 2-tier we created some time ago.

We were given the opportunity in creating a Pocoyo cake again recently. Did some research and realised Pocoyo had a few new friends now. Added Fred, Baby Bird and Caterpillar this time.

Sharing with you some of the Hello Kitty cakes we did recently. Getting Hello Kitty's expressions right was really not an easy task but we certainly hope we have done a great job in impressing you. Enjoy!

Babies born in the year of Tiger (i.e. year 2010) are turning 1 this year. We were expecting cake requests on Tiger and Tigger and we were not quite wrong there! Below are some cakes with baby Tigers and Tigger (Pooh's close buddy) for your inspiration, especially for mothers of babies born in the year of Tiger.

I once read from a friend's comment on Facebook that there were just endless possibilities when it comes to birthday themes for girls. I actually pretty agree on that remark.

This is one of those girl's cake designs which I enjoy working on.  First attempt in modeling Darby, though pressured, I actually had fun. Hope you will like this cake as much as I do.

Pooh & Friends cupcakes were individually packed in cupcake boxes as favours for the birthday girl's classmates.

Following the recent corruption of Jo's Deli & Bakery website on the server side, both the main recipe site and Cakes by Jo cake site, we had no choice but were forced to redesign and to reload all our cake photographs. It was certainly not an easy task as these could only be done in between bakings, decorating and running of errands. We are really glad that Cakes by Jo site is up and running now after more than 2 weeks of hard work. With the new Blog feature, we hope we will be able to share more of our cake experience with you than just photographs alone. We truly hope that the new design and layout of our site will make your browsing experience even more interesting than before. Christmas Cupcakes

Halloween Cakes & Cupcakes

1. Standard 2D cakes starts from RM 150 for buttercream decorated cake and RM 180 for fondant decorated cakes.
2. Tiered cakes start from RM 150 for 6 inch, depending on size, no. of tiers, choice of icing and complexity of design.
3. Cakes with 3D handmoulded figurines are priced by the design of cake from RM 200 for 6 inch with one (1) figurine (e.g. Mickey, Minnie, Pooh). Additional figurines are priced from RM 40 each.
4. 3D sculptured cakes, e.g. handbag, Lamborghini, starts from RM 350.
5. Standard 2.5 inch (dia) cupcakes with buttercream swirl, sprinkles and edible image start from RM 4.50 each.
6. 2D fondant cupcakes start from RM 6.50 each. 3D cupcakes (e.g. with figurines) start from RM 8 each. There is a minimum order of 12 cupcakes.
 

All cakes are to be collected from our location at Pantai Hillpark Phase 2, Kuala Lumpur.

Delivery of cakes with no setting up required is priced at RM 30 for Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya; and RM 50 for other areas within Klang Valley.

Delivery of large cakes, tiered cakes and cupcakes where setting up is required is priced at RM 50 for KL and PJ; and RM 80 for other areas within Klang Valley.

Out of state delivery can be arranged, subject to distance and availability.

1. A 50% deposit is required for confirmation of order. Slot remains open to other customers until deposit is received. Balance 50% upon collection of cake.
2. We accept cash and cheque. In the case of payment by cheque, cake will only be delivered upon clearing of cheque.
