A single tier and a 2-tier we created some time ago.

We were given the opportunity in creating a Pocoyo cake again recently. Did some research and realised Pocoyo had a few new friends now. Added Fred, Baby Bird and Caterpillar this time.

Sharing with you some of the Hello Kitty cakes we did recently. Getting Hello Kitty's expressions right was really not an easy task but we certainly hope we have done a great job in impressing you. Enjoy!

Babies born in the year of Tiger (i.e. year 2010) are turning 1 this year. We were expecting cake requests on Tiger and Tigger and we were not quite wrong there! Below are some cakes with baby Tigers and Tigger (Pooh's close buddy) for your inspiration, especially for mothers of babies born in the year of Tiger.

I once read from a friend's comment on Facebook that there were just endless possibilities when it comes to birthday themes for girls. I actually pretty agree on that remark.

This is one of those girl's cake designs which I enjoy working on.  First attempt in modeling Darby, though pressured, I actually had fun. Hope you will like this cake as much as I do.

Pooh & Friends cupcakes were individually packed in cupcake boxes as favours for the birthday girl's classmates.

Following the recent corruption of Jo's Deli & Bakery website on the server side, both the main recipe site and Cakes by Jo cake site, we had no choice but were forced to redesign and to reload all our cake photographs. It was certainly not an easy task as these could only be done in between bakings, decorating and running of errands. We are really glad that Cakes by Jo site is up and running now after more than 2 weeks of hard work. With the new Blog feature, we hope we will be able to share more of our cake experience with you than just photographs alone.
